Biomechanical Investigation of Ancient Maya Warfare at Mayapan, Yucatan, Mexico

Abstract: Despite significant advancements in the reconstruction of activity patterns from skeletal remains and growing scholarly interest in ancient warfare, few biomechanical studies have investigated weaponry use.
