Biomimetic 1-Aminocyclopropane-1-Carboxylic Acid Oxidase Ethylene Production by MIL-100(Fe)-Based Materials

Abstract: A novel core@shell hybrid material based on biocompatible hydroxyapatite nanoparticles (HA) and the well-known MIL-100(Fe) (Fe3O(H2O)2F(BTC)2·nH2O, BTC: 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate) has been prepared following a layer-by-layer strategy. The core@shell nature of the studied system has been confirmed by infrared, X-ray powder diffraction, N2 adsorption, transmission electron microscopy imaging, and EDS analyses revealing the homogeneous deposition of MIL-100(Fe) on HA, leading to HA@MIL-100(Fe) rod-shaped n… Show more

“…In the case of the Fe-MOG/BC composite, the characteristic peaks associated with carboxylic acid groups (1715 cm –1 ), asymmetric and symmetric vibration (1380, 1450, 1580, and 1630 cm –1 ), out-of-plane vibration (955, 1050, and 1130 cm –1 ), CO stretching vibration (760 cm –1 ), and CC stretching vibration (714 cm –1 ) are clearly observed. Meanwhile, the appearance of the Fe–O metal–oxo bond (625 cm –1 ) provides further evidence for the successful grafting of Fe-MOG on BC. Furthermore, Raman spectra also reveal that the Fe-MOG/BC composite effectively integrates the characteristic peaks from both BC and pure Fe-MOG (Figure S4), suggesting the successful immobilization of Fe-MOG on BC. ,,, …”

“…The Zn-O [1.943(3)-2.231( 4) Å] and Zn-N [2.038(4)-2.073(3) Å] bonds are within typical values. 19,28,34 The dia 4− block functions as a μ 7 -linker (mode V, Scheme 2), in which one of the COO − groups is bidentate while the other three groups are μ-bridging bidentate. Given a multiply bridging nature of μ 7dia 4− , there is a formation of an intricate 3D metal-organic framework (Fig.…”

“…[28][29][30][31][32][33] Among them, aromatic polycarboxylic acids stand out as the most commonly applied linkers for assembling coordination polymers, metal-organic frameworks, and derived materials. [34][35][36][37][38][39] A considerable focus of current research is devoted to the design of novel carboxylate linkers with multiple potential sites for coordination, followed by their exploration in the synthesis of metal-organic architectures.…”
