Biomimetic Intramolecular Diels-Alder Reaction to Construct the Tetrahydroindane Core of Elansolid A1/A2

Abstract: The Elansolid A1/A2 is metabolite from the gliding bacterium Chitinophaga sanctii and shows antibiotic activity against Gram-positive bacteria.
