Abstract:Two distinct bacterial strains were combined in a mixed culture to investigate the degradation of phenol. The mixed cultures consisting of species like Rhodococcus and Bacillus, were isolated from the waste effluent collected from Dankuni coal complex (DCC) in West Bengal.
