The perspective way of waste wood disposal by creation of pellet fuels has been considered. The prospects of using sulphate soap (a product of digestion of lignin from wood in pulp and paper production) as a binder for the creation of pellet fuels have been proved. Drying of waste woodto the required moisture is proposed to be carried out in an inviolable filtration layer. Optimal parameters of filtration drying and energy costs for the drying process are set for the conditions of the process implementation. The process of waste woodpelleting has been investigated and the optimal concentration of binder in the pellet has been established, which provides the necessary statistical strength and high calorific value of the pellet.
