Biosynthesis and Characterization of Silver Nanoparticles (AgNPs) using the purified protein from Jack fruit seeds and its effects on HeLa, cervical cancer cell line
Abstract:Biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) was done using Jacalin, a dietary lectin purified from Jack fruit seeds. The colour change from yellow to red confirms the synthesis of silver nanoparticles. The synthesized AgNPs using Jacalin displayed an absorption peak (Max.) at 430 nm in UV–visible spectroscopy. The particle size of the synthesized AgNPs through SEM was found to be in the range of 200 nm to 300 nm.
