Abstract:In the present report we demonstrate temperature sensing using fiber Bragg grating fixed on a Teflon substrate, which has a large thermal expansion coefficient. The significant enhancement in the sensitivity has been achieved by coating the fiber with green synthesized copper oxide nanoparticles characterized by UV-Visible spectroscopy, SEM, DSC and other techniques.
