Previous studies have revealed the several aspects of inherent problems that are associated with in vitro studies of chili i.e, non-availability of morphogenic calli, severe recalcitrance, less defined shoot buds, a genotypic requirement that can expose to tissue culture and plant improvement through genetic transformation system (Kothari et al, 2010;Rajam et al, 2021).
