-004Bis(trichlorophosphine)iminium Salts, [Cl 3 P=N=PCl 3 ] + , with Transition Metal Halide Counter-Ions.-The structures of compounds (III) (monoclinic, space group C2/c, Z = 4), (V) (triclinic, P1, Z = 2), and (VII) (orthorhombic, Cmca, Z = 4) are determined by single crystal XRD. The P=N distances in the discrete cations of (III) and (VII) are in the range 1.5460-1.5554Å and the P=N=P angles range from 136.8 • to 143.4 • . The cation in (V) is disordered. The Ti 2 Cl 9 − anion in (V) is formed by face-sharing of two distorted TiCl 6 octahedra, while the Zr 2 Cl 10 2− anion in (VII) consists of two edge-sharing distorted ZrCl 6 octahedra. -(RIVARD, ERIC; MCWILLIAMS, ANDREW R.; LOUGH, ALAN J.; MANNERS, IAN; Acta Crystallogr., Sect.
