Abstract:A Hamiltonian approach to the mass of isolated black holes AIP Conf.Abstract. We summarise recent results about the gravitational collapse to black holes in higher dimensions. We construct (n + 2)-dimensional collapsing space-times, which include generalised Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker solutions, and we prove that these can be matched to static Λ-vacuum exterior space-times. We then investigate the global properties of the matched solutions which, besides black holes, may include the existence of naked… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
