Abstract:Subject classification: 75.30.Et; 75.30.Kz; 76.60.Jx; S1.62 In mixed coupled, but still magnetically polarized compounds, order-order transitions occur at which occasion the Bloch wall thickness d can go to zero. This is demonstrated for a deGennes mixed double-exchange/superexchange situation. Experimentally, such Bloch wall anomalies can be detected via Bloch wall enhanced NMR. We discuss one example, i.e. the intermetallic compound MnAs.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
