“…Thirdly, the findings of H5 and H6 demonstrate that electronic traceability has a significant impact to influence consumer behavior and changed consumer satisfaction levels because consumers in the modern time, are requiring all the information about their shipped packages including the location, and time of delivery. This traceability requirement is enhancing the consumer level of satisfaction because when they believe that their shipment has been successfully shipped by the supplier, and it is on the way, they get a sense of satisfaction that their product would be reached to them on appropriate time (Lee & Yeon, 2021). At the same time, e-traceability the consumers to understand that the business entity that is providing them the information of traceability is preferable to the other business models that are not providing the information about shipment and electronic traceability.…”

“…Since the constellation of (1) reinforcement of information sharing between multiple supply chain members, (2) superior security of information flowing end-to-end along the supply chain, (3) faster speed of information communication between multiple pairs of participants, and (4) self-executing governance and payment mechanisms that apply to all pairs of supply chain partners, it is reasonable to expect a tremendous increase in information authenticity and the transparency of the whole supply chain. Hence, external stakeholders, consumers, and the public will be likely to gain more credible knowledge regarding the multitude of activities inside the supply chain, leading to an enhancement of confidence and greater trust in a supply chain with blockchain (Hasan et al, 2020 ; Köhler & Pizzol, 2020 ; Lee & Yeon, 2021 ).

“…International outsourcing of OWL is likely to increase, to handle e-commerce shipments (Morganti et al, 2014; [13,16], to reduce the risks of the investment in foreign market logistics assets, and clear the local knowledge barriers (Shi et al, 2016;Ren et al, 2020) [17,18], as well as to minimize operating costs and carbon emissions and to improve service level (Liu and Lyons, 2011; [19][20][21]. Here, we focus on an integrated OWL, which provides one-stop control and management service for frst-way transportation, warehousing, sorting, packaging, goods delivery, and customs declaration/customs clearance, established and operated by the third-party logistics provider, as well as supply chain optimization, goods identifcation, anticounterfeiting traceability (Lee and Yeon, 2021) [22], logistics real-time tracking, rapid response to consumer demand, customized solution, and other services (Wang, 2018) [23]. All these services are called value-added logistics services, which can help to enhance customers' perceived value and promote consumption (Wamba, Queiroz, 2020) [24].…”
