Abstract: Blog, news, ecommerce: Does genre matter for taggers? AbstractThis study presents an analysis of over 7000 tags assigned to 36 online resources. Analysis of the genre tags revealed that users' preferences in assigning tags emerged from the context of the resource. Study revealed significant variance in tagging vocabulary across four content categories and three resource genres.
