Board Composition and Financial Performance: Uncovering the Effects of Diversity in an Emerging Economy

Abstract: We examine the key elements of board diversity (or heterogeneity) amongst listed companies operating in an emerging economy (Mauritius) and the extent to which these influence financial performance.
