Bochdalek hernia in an adult patient: Case report

Abstract: Aim of this paper is to present a rare case of Bochdalek hernia in adult age and to underline the importance of clinical suspicion and imaging technique in making the exact diagnosis of this abnormality. Bochdalek hernia is a congenital defect localized on the posterolateral wall of the diaphragm through which the organs of the abdominal cavity pass into the chest.
