BODIPY-loaded polymer nanoparticles: chemical structure of cargo defines leakage from nanocarrier in living cells

Abstract: Hydrophobicity of a fluorescent cargo loaded into PLGA nanoparticles is crucial for minimizing its leakage in biological media.
