Abstract: The aim was to evaluate the effect of coat color, sex and age on body composition in local kids from northern Mexico. Eighty-three local kids between 1 and 30 days of age were selected. They were assigned to groups according to coat color (dark and light), sex (males and females) and age (1=1 to 10; 2=11 to 20 and 3=21 to 30 days).
