Body Mass Index and Primary Chronic Venous Disease

Abstract: he complaints secondary to lower extremity chronic venous disease (CVD) are indicators of a very important health problem, which results in substantial loss of work power. The chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) can be either primary or secondary. There is no identifiable cause in primary CVI; however the secondary CVI usually originates from prior deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
