Boldoblätter

Abstract: Die Ureinwohner Chiles, die Mapuche, haben seit Langem die Blattdroge von Peumus boldus Molina (Monimiaceae), die Boldoblätter, therapeutisch eingesetzt, ursprünglich offenbar hauptsächlich zur Rheumabehandlung (39). Auf sie geht wohl auch die botanische Bezeichnung der Gattung und Art dieser Arzneipflanze zurück (Kasten S. 44). Im Süden Chiles wurden fossile Boldoblätter mit Abdrücken von humanen Zähnen gefunden, die bis ca. 13 000 Jahre alt sind (39) und somit eine sehr lange Anwendung belegen. Ab 1867 kamen… Show more
