Abstract: Large-diameter concrete-filled steel tube (CFST) members are being increasingly utilised owing to their ability to carry larger loads and resist bending. Upon incorporating ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) into steel tubes, the resulting composite structures are lighter in weight and much stronger than conventional CFSTs.
