Abstract:Osteoporosis, a metabolic disorder, remains challenging to treat due to limited understanding of its underlying mechanism. The annual cycle of “cyclic physiological osteoporosis (CPO)” and its full reversal in male deer represents a unique natural model for studying this condition.
