Research Methods for Digital Discourse Analysis, from the Bloomsbury Series of Research Methods in Linguistics, is edited by Professor Camilla Vásquez and brings together the work of multiple experienced scholars who share expertise in discourse analysis but from different national backgrounds. Collectively, their work presents the readers with a breadth of platforms (e.g. YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Reddit) and topics (e.g. political discourse, business communication, video tutorials, dating profiles, blogs) as well as research designs (e.g. ethnography, mixed methods) and approaches to discourse analysis (e.g. conversation analysis, narrative analysis, critical discourse analysis).
