“…Additionally, the presence of large, few-layered NGr with lateral dimensions of several micrometers is evident from the transparency observed in the image, demonstrating the efficacy of the electrochemical exfoliation method used in this study. Figure d illustrates the HRTEM image of NGr sheets; the enlarged inset of NGr shows that the measured single-direction crystal plane d -spacing was 0.24 nm, which agrees with the reported lattice constant Figure e presents the cross-sectional FESEM image of NGr films fabricated via vacuum-assisted filtration.…”

“…In Figure c, Ti 2p spectra for MXene layers revealed a doublet separation with four distinct doublets (Ti 2p 3/2 and Ti 2p 1/2 ), linking Ti 2p 3/2 to the titanium atom’s core electrons and Ti 2p 1/2 to its valence electrons. Deconvolution of Ti 2p XPS peaks identifies four doublets corresponding to Ti(I)/(Ti–C), Ti(II), Ti(III), and Ti(IV)/Ti–O x located at binding energies between 454 and 466 eV. In Figure d, the C 1s spectra fitted with five curves in which a sharp peak at a low binding energy of ∼281.8 eV is associated with carbon atoms that are bonded to Ti (i.e., C–Ti) in the Ti 3 C 2 structure, which is fitted with two curves. , The C 1s peak showed a clear peak at ∼284.8 eV attributed to sp 2 hybridized carbon atoms (C–C) in MXene flakes graphitic-like regions, while peaks at ∼286.4 and ∼288.6 eV assigned to C–O/CH x and O–CO/C–F, respectively. The C 1s spectrum (Figure e) of the NGr indicates the dominant sp 2 carbon, characteristic of the graphene structure.…”

“…The electrochemical exfoliation of graphite is initiated by employing a two-electrode setup. 68 In this configuration, a platinum electrode served as the cathode (counter electrode), while a 0.5 mm thick flexible graphite sheet, sourced from Alfa Aesar, functioned as the anode (working electrode). To facilitate this process, flexible graphite foil is cut into sheets measuring 4 × 1 cm 2 .…”
