Abstract: Cordyceps fungi, including species such as Cordyceps sinensis and Cordyceps militaris, are known for producing bioactive chemicals, notably cordycepin. Traditional cordyceps cultivation in Thailand relies on silkworm pupae as a substrate in solid-state fermentation, posing challenges in catering to vegetarian consumers.
