Borderline Personality Disorder: What Predicts Acute Psychiatric Readmissions?

Abstract: Individuals diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD) often struggle with chronic suicidal thoughts and behaviors and have frequent acute psychiatric admissions. Prevention of serial admissions and disruptions in long-term treatment strategies is needed.
