Boundary integral equation method in the prediction of dielectric characteristics of humidified composite insulator glass–epoxy core

Abstract: This paper deals with the analysis of the influence of moisture on the dielectric properties of a composite insulator core made of epoxy resin and fibre glass, through measurements of the effective permittivity. The experiments are carried out on different core samples-dry and boiled in distilled water over different time intervals.
