Abstract:The brachial and lumbosacral plexuses are complex neural structures that transmit sensory, motor, and autonomic information between the spinal cord and the extremities. Plexus disorders can be particularly disabling because lesions in the plexus usually affect large groups of nerve fibers originating from several spinal levels.
