Brachytherapy for clinically localized prostate cancer

Abstract: Prostate brachytherapy is an effective treatment option for clinically organ‐confined prostate carcinoma. Observed 5‐ and 10‐year follow‐up have documented prostate‐specific antigen (PSA) levels that were comparable to published radical prostatectomy series and were better than several published external‐beam radiation series.
