Brain-Inspired Machine Intelligence: A Survey of Neurobiologically-Plausible Credit Assignment

Abstract: In this survey, we examine algorithms for conducting credit assignment in artificial neural networks that are inspired or motivated by neurobiology, unifying these various processes under one possible taxonomy.
