“…In the USA, an estimated 45% of women have a hysterectomy in their lifetime [1] . Of the 600,000 hysterectomies performed yearly, 90% are performed for benign indications including uterine fibroids, endometriosis, uterine polyp, abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB), pelvic infection, and/or adnexal pathology [2,3] .
