“…By lowering negative symptoms and mood disorders and boosting function, alternative exercise traditions (AETs) like Pilates, yoga, Tai Chi Chuan, Qigong, and various kinds of dance have the potential to enhance a variety of outcomes for cancer (breast cancer [ 1 ]; breast cancer and weight loss [ 2 ]) survivors, which attracts much attention recently, particularly for patients with complex underlying conditions like type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease (CVD), and cancer [ 3 ]. Qigong, as a Meditative Movement for breathing, body movement, meditation, and awareness, came from Eastern medicine, the practical, philosophical, and psychological background of Ki (in Japanese) or Qi (in Chinese) [ 4 ].
