Breeding Qualities of Inbred and Outbred Animals

Abstract: The article deals with issues related to the useof inbreeding in the selection process: the infl uence of inbreeding on the breeding qualities of producers and females; breeding qualities of inbred and outbred producers; inbreeding – asa method for obtaining prepotent producers; methods for assessing prepotency.
