“…Similarly, Finitsis et al (2020) investigated the effectiveness of motivational interviewing in increasing help-seeking behavior and improving anxiety disorder. Their results indicated that after the motivational interviewing intervention, the post-test scores of the experimental group significantly changed, showing a significant increase in help-seeking behavior and a significant reduction in anxiety, while no such change was observed in the control group's post-test scores (Finitsis et al, 2022).
