Broad-Band Photodetectors Based on Copper Indium Diselenide Quantum Dots in a Methylammonium Lead Iodide Perovskite Matrix

Abstract: Low-temperature solution-processed methylammonium lead iodide (MAPbI 3 ) crystalline films have shown outstanding performance in optoelectronic devices. However, their high dark current and high noise equivalent power prevent their application in broad-band photodetectors. Here, we applied a facile solution-based antisolvent strategy to fabricate a hybrid structure of CuInSe 2 quantum dots (CISe QDs) embedded into a MAPbI 3 matrix, which not only enhances the photodetector responsivity, showing a large on/off … Show more

“…Also, perovskite broad-band photodetectors can be substantially improved with the proposed antireflective coatings. [41] Finally, the proposed design of anti-reflecting perovskite metasurfaces can be up-scaled by both mechanical nanoimprint [3,39] and laser printing [8,40] technologies.…”

“…Visible-light photodetectors (PDs) are widely used in optical communications, remote sensing, digital imaging, environmental monitoring, and other fields. [35][36][37][38][39] In recent years, the research results of all-inorganic lead-based halide perovskites in PDs have been reported many times due to their excellent merits such as tunable bandgap, well-balanced electron/hole mobilities, low-cost processing technique, and good stability. [40][41][42][43] Li et al have synthesized a dense structure of CsPbBr 3 thin films on SiO 2 /Si substrates by one-step spin-coating method.…”
