Abstract:Antireflective surfaces are often realized by minimizing the refractive index contrast between the air and substrate using subwavelength microstructures. In this paper, we introduce another kind of geometry-induced antireflective surface using multireflection to suppress reflection to a very low extent. This surface is composed of micro-∧-shape array with the wedge size much larger than the wavelength of the incident light. Simulation and experimental results show that the micro-∧-shape array can effectively s… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
