Broadband frequency modulation signal downconversion using a monolithic integrated mutual injection laser

Abstract: We propose a new, to the best of our knowledge, broadband signal downconversion scheme implemented by a monolithic integrated mutual injection laser. A mathematical derivation, simulation, and experimental verification are carried out.
