Abstract:Background
The rare monogenic syndrome Autoimmune Polyendocrinopathy-Candidiasis-Ectodermal Dystrophy (APECED) leads to multisystemic autoimmunity with possible lung involvement. Autoimmune pneumonitis is a rare manifestation, with bronchiectasis being the most frequent radiologic pattern, and may lead to fatal outcome.
