Abstract:To the Editor: Transthoracic needle aspiration (TTNA) and bronchoscopy have been the preferred methods for the sampling of pulmonary nodules suspected of lung cancer. However, despite having a higher diagnostic accuracy, TTNA has been associated with a high rate of pneumothorax.
