Abstract:SummaryBrucellosis is an infection of animals which may be transmitted to man by direct contact or by drinking unpasteurised milk. Skeletal involvement was first reported in 1932 by Kulowski and Vinke1 when they described a case of spinal infection. Since then there have been further reports in English literature2‐4 but few of infection of the sacro‐iliac joint5,6. We present a further case and discuss the diagnosis and management.
