Abstract:Background: Despite advances in targeted therapies and immunotherapies, traditional treatments like microtubule stabilizers (paclitaxel, docetaxel), DNA-intercalating platinum drugs (cisplatin), and radiation therapy remain essential for managing locally advanced and metastatic lung cancer.
