Abstract:The formation of C-C bonds through automated synthesis platforms seeks to accelerate the preparation of molecules, simplify the operational processes, and reduce the human time required for synthesis. Here, we report C-C bond formation using a low-cost automated synthesis platform that seeks to democratize automated organic synthesis. MIK-I can run reactions widely used in organic chemistry: Claisen-Schmidt condensations, Suzuki-Miyaura coupling, Knoevenagel condensations, and Morita-Baylis-Hillman reactions, … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
