Abstract: The Jordanian construction industry faces notable challenges, particularly about variation orders (VOs), contributing to budget overruns and project delays. The Jordan Engineers Association poll in 2020 found that variation orders (VOs) accounted for 23% of cost overruns in construction projects in Jordan.
