In today's agriculture and food supply chain in general, new technologies, especially those designed to reduce costs, tend to be quickly adopted and adopted. Agriculture has been identified as one of the great promises of ecommerce because of the highly fragmented nature of the supply chain, the large volumes traded, and the fact that homogeneous products only reinforce expectations. Internet technology has opened up the possibility of using e-commerce to reduce costs and increase demand along the food supply chain. This study summaries the status of the information technology and agriculture business platform in India for the Indian agricultural market, and the challenges and strategies in adopting e-commerce in the agricultural sector in India. This study begins with an introduction to e-commerce and agriculture and general frameworks for e-commerce adoption, followed by various business models that support e-commerce adoption. While e-commerce is still relatively primitive, more and more companies today want to self-publish on the Internet.
