“…GOKb has developed a data model based on the widely used 'Bill of Materials' approach that is both hospitable to the variety of data and relationships involved in the target domain and also fundamentally geared to expressing clear relationships between data objects and therefore to publishing linked data. 5 GOKb metadata can also support data manipulation and quality control for other applications related to electronic collections, such as usage management tools.
