nformation technology offers a professional challenge to occupational and environmental health nurses and managers. Information systems, telecommunications, and methods of information delivery challenge nurses to strategically manage occupational and environmental health data. Most important in the management of employee health information is the preservation and protection of the confidentiality of health records.
