CA5W1HOnto: Ontological Context-Aware Model Based on 5W1H

Abstract: Ubiquitous computing is necessary to define models for broad contextual information arising out of surrounding environment. It also helps comprehend how to model a mechanism of selectively collecting useful pieces of contextual information and of providing relevant intelligent services. Further, studies are also required on how to process contextual information, its maintenance, and reasoning. However, current context-aware researches are still in need of modeling techniques reflecting ontological characterist… Show more

“…Also, it can provide great help for users to identify the type of a given context before using it. As context could be categorized from different perspective, the list in Table 1 summarizes a few well-known forms of context classification given in the current literature [ 16 , 17 , 18 , 19 , 20 , 21 , 22 ].…”

“…There are many approaches that deal with context awareness in several areas, such as service engineering [14], [19], communications [6], [32], ubiquitous computing [34], multimedia [17] and business process engineering [5], [7], [40]. Several definitions of context have been proposed, however, there is no real consensus on the definition of this concept since it is used in many research fields.…”

“…The following shows an example of DyAC based on scenario described above: (2) ac ← the attribute of predefined Access Condition (3) , is the identification number of attributes (4) while MAPPING(c , ac ) do (5) CHECK INTENDED GOAL COMPLIANCE(c , ac , ig) ( 6) if (c × ac ∈ AIG) then (7) return Grant Access (8) else if (c × ac ∈ CIG) then (9) CHECK CONDITION(c , ac ) (10) if ∀c ⊆ ac then (11) return Grant Access (12) else (13) return Deny Access (14) else if (c × ac ∈ PIG) then (15) return Deny Access Algorithm 1: Dynamic access decision by mapping between and AC. We implement the CBDAC model using Protégé [36,37].…”
