Caesarean delivery during dual antiplatelet therapy after acute myocardial infarction and stenting

Abstract: Background Cardiac disease is the leading cause of maternal mortality during pregnancy in high-resource countries. Case A 31-year-old woman had an ST-elevated myocardial infarction (STEMI) at 16 gestational weeks. The patient received three coronary drug-eluting stents followed by dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) with aspirin and clopidogrel.
