“…Most commonly, it is seen in small bowel neoplasms or chronic infections. Reported causes are the following: schistosomiasis infection, tuberculosis, Meckel's diverticulum, lymphoma, congenital intestinal duplications, polyps in Peutz‐Jegher's syndrome, carcinoid tumors, adenocarcinoma, gastrointestinal atresia, and Crohn's disease (2,6–10). To our knowledge, nonmalignant calcification of the small intestine in Crohn's disease patients has not been described.…”
