Calculation of blast hole charge amount based on three-dimensional solid model of blasting rock mass

Abstract: The development and use of intelligent drilling rigs make it available to obtain accurate lithology data of blast drilling. In order to make full use of drilling data to improve blasting efficiency, the following research was carried out. First, a database is established to manage and store the blast hole data recognized by the intelligent drill. Secondly, the blast hole lithology data is taken as a sample, and the inverse distance square method is used to interpolate the blasting range's solid elements to gen… Show more

“…A new bench blasting model is established based on the model parameters verifed by feld tests. Te parameters of deep bench blasting are as follows: the bench height is 5.5 m, the blast hole diameter is 90 mm, the blast hole depth is 6.5 m, the blasting delay between four rows is 30 ms, the spacing of the blast hole row is 2 m, and explosive consumption per unit volume is 0.53 kg/m 3 [27]. Te left and lower boundaries of the model are nonrefective, simulating the propagation of infnite media blasting.…”

“…Sun Shiguo [ 42 ] et al established a three-dimensional model that calculated the displacement and stress of the slope body by the finite difference method and investigated the characteristics of the influence of multi-stage open-pit cascade mining on the stability of the slope and its slope displacement and stress distribution. Chen [ 43 ] et al created a three-dimensional solid model of the rock mass that was blasted by utilizing the lithology data as a sample. They then employed this model to compute the quantity of charge present in the blasted rock mass.…”

“…The application yielded a satisfactory blasting outcome. Chen et al [15] calculated the blast hole charge amount based on a three-dimensional solid model of the blasting rock mass, aiming to make full use of drilling data and improve the blasting efficiency. Considering the application example of No.…”
