The line radiation of xenon plasma at T=10000-14000K and p=(2-40)*105 Pa was calculated using published transition probabilities and broadening constants. Self-absorption proved to be important for many lines and was taken into account by means of a simple model. These results have been used to calculate the total radiation power which has been compared with the results of Kozlov (1974) and with the earlier experiments of Gunther (1973). The best agreement between theory and experiment was achieved on the basis of the Schirmer line factor due to Gunther.
